Encodes one of three Arabidopsis calreticulins. In CRT-deficient mouse fibroblasts, this protein restores ER Ca2+ levels. Non-receptor component required for EFR-mediated immunity. Mutants show de-repressed anthocyanin accumulation in the presence of elf18, and EFR accumulation and signalling.
